Today my day was brightened when I received an email update on Mia. I had recently asked for her measurements so that we could begin buying clothes and shoes for her. To my surprise pictures were included in the update.
As reported by her orphanage, she is quite healthy and happy. She is crawling now, which she must have began since our last update as she was not crawling then. She can also pull up on items and stand. However, she is not walking yet. And she has 5 teeth. When I read this information, something in my brain clicks and I realize that I am going to have a BABY in my house soon. Am I really ready for this???? YES!
She is such a chunky monkey. She weighs 23 pounds! I can't wait to kiss those sweet chubby cheeks! Although it seems like a long time before we can travel to China - it is just around the corner and will be here before we know. We have so much to prepare for before she arrives home. Her crib must be reassembled and we need a high chair and all of the baby stuff that 13 month olds need - I'm working on finding out what those things are. It has been quite a while since I had a baby in the house. Fun times!!!!!
